China e-cigarette export data in August 2024

On September 20, the General Administration of Customs of China released the export data of electronic cigarettes in August.
Data show that in August 2024, China's electronic cigarette products (including electronic cigarettes and similar personal electronic atomization equipment, other non-combustion and absorption products containing nicotine, the same below) exports were about 898 million US dollars (detailed data is 89,795,868 US dollars), an increase of 2.39%, down 10.23% from the previous year.

Among them, the top ten destination countries of China's e-cigarette exports in August this year are:
1.The United States (288,820,813 US dollars)
2.Britain ($91,266,741)
3.Germany ($56,318,434)
4.South Korea ($52,934,995)
5.Russia ($42,265,695)
6.Netherlands (US $40,704,769)
7.Malaysia (US $35,838,145)
8.Canada ($26,891,964)
9.United Arab Emirates ($24,622,862)
10.Poland (US $21,761,126)
The total exports of these ten countries amounted to US $681,425,544, accounting for 75.89% of China's total e-cigarette exports in August.
In terms of ranking, compared with July this year, the top ten export destination countries in August changed little, only Japan fell 54.44% (from $28,894,544 in July to $13,163,803 in August) fell out of the top ten, replaced by Poland. Russia also fell sharply, from third place in July to fifth.
In addition, although the amount of e-cigarettes exported to the United States and the United Kingdom decreased slightly in August, these two markets still lead the world, respectively, the first and second.
As the only country in Southeast Asia to enter the top 10, Malaysia remained steady in seventh place, with China's exports to the country up 19.30 percent from July.
