China's e-cigarette export data for April 2024: US No. 1, Malaysia No. 6

On May 20, China's General Administration of Customs released April 2024 data on China's e-cigarette exports.

 

 

According to the data, China's exports of e-cigarette products (including e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic atomization devices, other products containing nicotine that are not smoked by combustion, hereinafter the same) amounted to about 895 million U.S. dollars (8,948,893,300 U.S. dollars) in April 2024, a year-on-year decline of 13.52%, and an increase of 8.46% from the same period last year.

 

 

In April 2024, the top 10 destination countries for China's exports of e-cigarettes were the U.S., the U.K., South Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Russia, Canada, Japan, and the U.A.E. In March, the top 10 were the U.S., the U.K., Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Canada, and Croatia.

Among them, China exported e-cigarettes to the United States amounted to $329 million in April, and to the United Kingdom amounted to $101 million. Followed by South Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia were 74.76 million dollars, 62.2 million dollars, 42.47 million dollars, 35.37 million dollars respectively in April.
