Seven vape brands obtained Philippine Standards License

The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry has released a list of manufacturers and importers of vape and heated tobacco that have obtained Philippine Standard (PS) licenses, including seven vape brands and six heated tobacco brands. 

 

The seven vape brands include: X-VAPE, TOMORO, VAGEND, PHANTOM VAPE, RELX, ONE BAR, KLIQ, TRUEZ & DON BARS. 

 

The six heated tobacco brands include: HUNN, TEREA & HEETS, BLENDS, BONDS BY IQOS, TEREA, IQOS. In addition, the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry also announced two license suspension brands: CHILLAX and SHFT.

In late December 2024, Secretary of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry Cristina Roque said that about 10 companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution and sale of new tobacco products have been registered with the Department. 

 

It is understood that from January 2025, the Philippines requires the certification and registration of new tobacco products such as electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco entering the market, and the enforcement of product standards. vape products that do not have the Philippine Standard (PS) mark are not allowed to be imported, manufactured and sold in the Philippines, and products that do not comply may be immediately recalled, banned or impounded. At present, a total of the above 13 vape and heated tobacco brands have obtained market access permission in the Philippines.
